Community Specialist with interest in working with Electronic Engineers

Our Element14 Community team is recruiting a NEW team member as our Community Specialist. We are looking for someone with a passion for working in the Community field, engaging with a technical audience and working with the latest in digital tools.
The element14 community is a global online community specifically for electronics engineers, makers, educators and students and includes popular design challenges, technical blogs, videos and webinars on hot electronic trends. It also hosts the very popular element14 Presents show . Our team functions much like a startup within a larger global organization, developing innovative ideas for attracting new community members, developing engaging content and working together to get the job done.
Our community specialist will help in a number of needed areas on our global team.
- Gathering and reporting on performance metrics for overall community and supplier programs using various analytics tools such as Adobe and Google analytics and reporting on results.
- Managing the product logistics for our design challenges and member product reviews
- Working with global team to ensure plans are developed, delivered on time and in budget
- QA and testing of new community programs and features added to the element14 Community
- Helping where needed which includes communicating directly with our members on the element14 community to ensure questions are answered
Enages the operations of the suppiler programs - ensuring they are delivered on-time and resourced via workfront, all product logistics for roadtest and design challenges and global results and analytics reporting for all supplier co-op programs on the community. Needed to execute these important programs on time.
We are looking for excellent communication and organizational skills and a desire to learn about online communities, social media, analytics and workflow management tools. This role will work with our global marketing and community team to project manage and coordinate the various community plans aimed at growing membership and engagement on the community.

Essential Skills
- Organized self-starter who can deliver without a great deal of direct supervision.
- Project management skills and understanding of project management concepts (tasks, dependencies, approvals, etc.)
- MS Office: Powerpoint, Excel and Word proficient
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
- Experience communicating via social media channels.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with workflow management tools such as Workfront
- Experience with online communities and social media
- Familiar with using digital analytics and tracking tools (i.e. Adobe, Google Analytics, etc…)
- Interest or experience in electronics engineering
- Previous experience working in a global environment

Work Experience:
- Typically requires a minimum of five years of related experience.
Education and Certification(s):
