You should have gotten a notice of a security breach at Adafruit

The public disclosure post is located here:
https://adafruit.com/march2022disclosure

Adafruit is advising customers of a security incident through the bulletin. I realize the company is a competitor of our sponsor but I suspect some of our members may use the vendor from time to time. As a former IT security professional, I take these notices seriously and ignore professional boundaries to make people aware.

I suspect this will get posted in the wrong forum. I'm still trying to navigate the site labyrinth to find myself in the proper place. My apologies.

We've worked with Ada in the past and our parent company stocks their products. Though they often get who the element14 Community is stated incorrectly in their blogs...

Security incidents are all the rage these days Disappointed

In today's environment of politically correct, I wasn't sure if posting their material on this site was appropriate. Thanks for your insight.

Changes in Canadian Law require companies to make customers aware if their personal identifiable information is compromised.

Hah, I was not aware of that. I hope more countries follow suit.
