Jubilations!

cstanton
cstanton over 3 years ago

If you're based in the United Kingdom you'll be celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee extended bank holiday weekend! Thursday, Friday are bank holidays (typically time off work for most, though not strictly everyone) to celebrate the Queen's 70 years of service to the throne of the United Kingdom.

Some are having street parties, others are going to EMFCamp. I'm not sure what I'm going to do, maybe fix my 3D printer and catch up with Obi-Wan Kenobi on Disney+ or the latest Star Trek.

If you're in the UK and you have the fortune of being off for the bank holiday, what're you up to with your extra day(s) ?

Usually a prequel to an argument over the pronunciation of scone and whether the jam or cream goes on top...

I'm still not sure what a 'cream tea' is.

Aha, thanks, I do like scones. Question is, fruit (raisin/currant), cheese or plain?

Let's keep it simple, just have one of each...

Plain or cheese, the last one without anything but butter. Raisins and currants are the Devil’s favourite invention.
