Amazon’s promotional algorithm got me to pull my credit card out of my purse once again.
I saw this USB power tester on sale and immediately clicked the add to cart button.
Thankfully my socks didn’t smell that great because they’ve gone off into orbit.
Okay jokes aside, its a pretty neat little USB power tester.

That’s a lot of digits for a low cost USB widget. The 100 uV and 10 uV are really there just for show. But still for basic validation and troubleshooting of USB power supplies its performance is more than good enough.



There doesn’t appear to be anyway to calibrate the unit so I will have to live with it as is. Though a 900 PPM scale error is forgivable on a low cost USB widget.
It even has a rudimentary oscilloscope to sample bus ripple.


It will also query and trigger USB power delivery profiles

The user manual does a pretty good job of describing the products features

The PC application worked out of the box on my old Win8 laptop, no luck yet on my Win10 desktop (don’t know why).
