After some strong-arming a friend of mine (at least before this post) has join the community. Jayrdot and I went to the same technical college. We discovered this fact when we first met. It was twenty years apart but still it was interesting to discover.
I started singing the praises of our community when we meet. I wanted to encourage him to join. He is a train engineer by paycheque. That hides a technical knowledge base that I feel would be an asset to our community. His programming skills are impressive. I'm not sure if he would ever make a post to introduce himself. Hopefully my forwardness doesn't put him off.
