AI chat is not very intelligent

this link "/members/worshiplife"  (check while it lasts, I flagged it as spam), is evidence that AI can't produce anything close to a decent result, for a reader that uses their brain.

I entered the title in a AI bot and got virtually the same text back.

There was a case where an offspring attacked his father one morning, and for a short period (before they died), just the outer part of the brain was damaged, and they carried on with their activities like fetching the paper and pouring a coffee, oblivious to the fact that they needed urgent medical treatment.

I think ChatGPT output is somewhere just north of that. Occasionally it will pull out and put together insightful content remarkably well, but it especially excels at putting together the mundane elevator-music content that the Internet is already clogged with.

I've noticed that weak writers are using AI to write text that they think is "as good as a human writes!" But, because they are mediocre (at best) they do not realize that the AI's writing is terrible.

And there's been that reported case on the BBC about the people on the Warhammer subreddit that started planting nonsense.  An article purporting to have been written by a human, but actually a bot, started creating and publishing articles on the nonsense as factual stuff for Warhammer.

I predict there will be a lot of disappointed CEOs if they get persuaded to invest in it!
