Welcome, Gobnic20 . Every project starts with an idea and a desire to bring that idea to life. When that desire elevates high enough... you figure out the rest. Sometimes. 
The E14 community can help with knowledge, but we can't do anything about time or patience. I still don't own a 3D printer and my RetroPi has not come to life... yet.
