This year, I started to learn how to use edge machine learning beyond face and voice recognition.

Currently, I'm working on a small project that uses vibration to determine if a motor is running. (and hopefully the speed.)

At the moment, I'm trying to set up an half decent lab. I'm also in the process of buying a home and the idea of having a small space (in the near future) dedicated to my electronic workbench is super exciting!

Thanks for the added options. I really needed some help in deciding what motivates me right now (I am having a bit of difficulty in finding motivation right now due to a burnout from a long project). But audio (synthesizer, MIDI, etc) is sort of my jam right now. I am looking for the right opportunity to getting back to my multi-voice synthesizer project, and I am currently working on a product for a client where I would like to add some audio processing to do some voice changing and other special effects.

How about you? What is your current motivation? What is new and exciting to you?

ChatGPT has been a blast. I used it to write a MadLibs for my engineering team outing. Also to write some complex regular expressions :)

I have been playing with a PICO and I finally received two RPI 3B's I ordered about six months ago.

Time allocation and health issues will determine what I can get done this year, or what is left of it.

Still, there has never been enough time to play with all of the things I am interested in.

I am into all of the above. Last year I did a few dozen projects, in fact I entered 26 e14 contests. I have not counted up this year's projects, but currently experimenting with ways to implement very low-cost augmented reality. In the immediate future I will be doing some retro electronics projects, some electronic art and some work on my lab/blogging "studio". (actually just a bench )
