It is definitely spring in Maryland, USA. The daffodils have come and gone. The lilacs have come out and are fading fast. Next up are the rhododendrons and dogwoods.

Tulips don't appear to last in my garden, I think they need the cold winter and hot summer as opposed to the constant wind and rain.

Some of the new 'ball' Alliums are in flower here as are some of last year's Salvia. So a couple of months earlier than expected due to the mild winter.

I lost count but I think I planted around 500 new Alliums this year, so in theory the bees should be able to walk across the garden flower to flower this year...

Very nice photo. Brussels is certainly picturesque. Anyway, I thought spring only becomes official when water starts to 'spring' from Menneken Pis.
