I’m losing some nerd-cred here, as my artist wife was the one to tell me about it!
We went to the beach for a better view. Lots of people there. Also too many cars constantly driving by (with headlights flooding the place!) looking for parking, but it was still a great show!

At that time it was hard to see anything, it just looked like a dull glow, so the phone cameras were needed to see things better.
Things got super bright around 11pm though, and it was brilliantly colourful and bright enough to see clearly with the naked eye.
