Fess up to the stuff you really shouldn't have bought but did! Let's be honest, the most likely outcome is that some of us will likely join you - but then you'll probably feel less guilty about it.
On pure impulse... almost every electronic accessory board - many that have never been built into anything. Some that I can't even remember what I thought I was going to do with them when I bought them.
I bought the Triplett ET30 Magnetic Field Detector pen because of a converstion here on e14. THAT was pure impulse.
Another angle grinder ($15). Pneumatic chisel. Pneumatic nibbler. 20 cheap multimeters - because they were $2 each. Chisel carving set. Vacuum desoldering station. Halicrafter amateur radio transmitter and receiver set. Cable winch. Large helping hands. 100w soldering iron. Two different types of wrench organizers. Trim router. Rotary tool kits (3 or 4 at least).
This is kind of depressing. 
It sounds like healthy fun to me.
Hopefully I am over my addiction to buying multimeters...but I still have urges..
