So Long Community Members, and Thanks for All the Fish!

This Friday will be my last day as a member of the element14 team.   I joined this company 9 years ago and began working for the community a year later.   I feel very lucky to have been given the chance to be a part of the element14 community and will cherish the time that I spent here long after I’m gone.

Highlights include countless giveaways and contests, all the cool projects you guys did whether they were Arduino or Project14 related, all the great questions you guys asked during webinars and live events, being around an awesome team, and being constantly amazed the more I got to know you.  I could go on and on about the things that I cherish about my time here, but I think you get the point.

This community has been friendliest community that I have ever been a part of.   You have actively shaped all the activities and programs that I was a part of, making me look good and my job a lot easier at the same time.

I want to thank my company, managers, teammates, and most importantly the community members for your support and taking a chance on me throughout my journey over these past 8 years.    You all have a place in my heart, and I hope to carry the lessons I’ve learned here into the next chapter of my career.

Some Final Business before I leave: I have a few more packages that I need to get delivered to members in India and I will close out my last Project14 contest before I leave.  If there is anything outstanding on my end, please reach out to me by the end of the week so that I can make sure you get taken care of.   As far as who to turn to for anything that is outstanding after Friday, I leave you in the capable hands of the rest of the element14 content team:  cstanton , rscasny , or  e14phil.

Thank you for being the best community members in the galaxy!    I will miss you all!

    Tariq!!

Thank you for being such a big part of the community, we appreciate everything you've done here in the community as well as for all the individual contributors. You've definitely had a huge positive impact on my life, as I'm sure you have been for many others here too.

And also thank you for being an enabler of all my wild and crazy projects Laughing  I mean enabler in all the best of ways of course!

Wishing you all the best in whatever new adventure you take on, after your well-deserved break Slight smile

And if you ever find yourself at this NorthWest corner of the continent, the coffee is always on!

Thank you ntewinkel !   Its been a pleasure to be a part of this and that really means a lot to me.    Every time I see your profile pic,  who could forget the Thinking Cap, and then there is the Friendly Fartybot and your most recent Rocket Cat Goes to Space.   I feel honored to have a positive impact but believe me when I say it was mutual.   I'm proud too have been an enabler of wild and crazy projects and I think I'll have to steal that one and use it on my resume.    lol.   The Pacific NorthWest is one of my favorite parts of the country so its not a stretch to imagine I wind up in that corner someday.   Fare thee well my friend and keep being crazy and bringing joy with your projects!  :-)
