Tinkering with some audio DSP on my Pico2. Frequency shifting was one of the first methods to help suppress/reduce oscillation/howling in PA systems. Rod Elliott has few detailed blogs on the subject…

There are at least 3 issues plaguing the technical job market:

    1. The art of finding a job has morphed and nobody seems to know the new formula. Resumes are non existent. Keyword searches in talent databases are gamed to the point of being useless. Interviews have little value when none of the selected interviewees are suitable.
    2. Institutions are stuck in the dark ages in preparing students for life in the fast lane.
    3. Recent generations of graduates are fed so much propaganda from all directions, they often feel entitled to coast into a cushy job that is mostly a vacation in disguise.

Enough with the soap box, What are everyone's New Years resolutions?

I have a non-binding initiative to dig out and complete more of my bucket list projects. Slight smile

I disagree with issue 2 as a generalization.  My experience with graduates from "technology" focused universities has been that they are very well prepared for real world experiences and have a high rate of post-graduate employment.  A few example schools that I have had great success hiring from are California Polytechnic (Cal Poly SLO), Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI in New York), and Oregon Institute of Technology (Oregon Tech).

My New Year's resolution is as always to organize and clean out my electronics stuff.  I never seem to succeed.  Maybe this will be the year...
