Hi Fg_ I don't think you can't talk about the robot's efficiency in performing tasks, or how well it mirrors human behavior at all, if the robot is, as far as I understand, barely a 3D model and a list of materials right now.

And it's OK if that's the step of the process where you currently are. Projects start with the vision and the plans. BUT you definitely need to introduce yourself better, introduce your team better, and introduce the project better. Gather the team and make a video about it. Show your progress. Break down the development in stages with clear, measurable goals. Create a roadmap and tell us where you are in that timeline. And THEN you will be in a better position to ask for support.

Now, if it's really your "team captain" writing the longer, more elaborate posts, they should introduce themselves too, and ideally have their own account. If those paragraphs were written with the help of AI (as some people suspect, myself included), then that's valid too, but you should try to keep the text more straight "to the point" and sounding less like a press release. The use of grandiose words tells us of an ambitious goal, and the more ambitious the goal, the harder it is to achieve, and the harder it is to garner any kind of external support without telling us more about it.

TL;DR: You need to describe not only the vision but the plan and the team. That includes sharing progress, pictures, videos. What stage are you currently at? etc.

    Best of luck!

Hi Fg - I see this is a high school. http://www.shikshkarni.in/about.php

Appreciate the zeal and resourceful way to try to gather up support for a vision.

As mentioned by other members of the community, a vision is a good start, the next step is for you & the team is to develop an approach and an action plan with concrete steps, needs, and timing.  These steps do not need to be to the sub-atomic level, but it is essential to have project planning with ACTION plan and goals. The workscope needs to be achievable.

Professional teams comprise varied skill sets: finance/sales, project, software technical, hardware technical, mechanical, electrical, computing, marketing, leaders & managers [ ooo that hurts to admit  :-)   ]

Please think about a plan that can be achieved in steps with goals and timing. Persuasion includes logic, critical thinking, and actionable tasks in the discussion.

I'm sorry but the answer is no.

You are asking for a commitment in advance of providing any meaningful information.

In similar circumstances people asking for support provide evidence (in the form or reports, photographs, reviews etc) of their experience and previous work.

They usually provide a list of the most important team members, along with a short biography of each.

    And so on.

But I think you have probably put everyone off by making claims that cannot be taken seriously:

    Fg_ said:
mirroring human behavior and capabilities to an extraordinary degree

And you claim you will do this using a Raspberry Pi or a Jetson Nano as the compute platform.

Microsoft, Amazon and Google are all buying nuclear power stations of their own to power their AI efforts - and they can't offer most of what you promise in your earlier post.

    If you really have:

    Fg_ said:
this pioneering concept represents an entirely novel innovation that has yet to be introduced to the global technological landscape

then you will need to present it much, much better.

Our team is currently engaged in the development of an advanced humanoid robot designed to assist people in performing various tasks with remarkable efficiency, mirroring human behavior and capabilities to an extraordinary degree. Furthermore, this pioneering concept represents an entirely novel innovation that has yet to be introduced to the global technological landscape. Given our commitment to realizing this groundbreaking vision, we are reaching out for support in the form of critical hardware components, as we are currently constrained by limited resources. Your generous contribution could significantly accelerate our progress. If you are willing to collaborate with us, please respond affirmatively with a "Yes." Upon confirmation of your interest, we will promptly share a detailed 3D model of the robot along with a comprehensive list of required materials.

Does this proposal meet your approval?

    -Thank you

I'm humbled by your response or is it AI. The writing has improved immensely from the opening line of your post 9 hours ago.

Your group appears to spans the expertise domains required to tackle the project.

What are you lacking that a mere mortal such as myself could contribute to the project?

The confidence of youth : ) We've all been there.

But you can still learn a few things from older people..

First point being, as you develop, it's worth growing your organ of modesty.

Secondly, one day, (perhaps in your first job, or maybe at university) you'll hit a realization one day, where it will dawn on you that you don't know an awful lot.. (regardless of how talented one is; i.e., it's not intended as an insult).
