    dougw To answer the question... the nut rounding Crescent hammer (picture #7).  Any tool that you have to remind folks NOT to use for everything HAS TO BE the greatest tool ever invented.  I think the second greatest tool has to be the pocket knife - again based on the constant misapplication and abuse.

    I think I have to give the nod to vise grips - I use them in even more egregious ways than the crescent wrench, but I am very happy that somebody invented them....Relaxed

    dougw Laughing  They should be sold as a set.  Once you round the nut over with the Crescent hammer, Vise-Grips are the solution. Joy
