What is your new year resolution?

As 2026 has arrived many of you may have a goal to achieve in 2026. It can be anything but as we are on element14 community let's discuss a skill or a new learning that you want to achieve in 2026.

For the year 2025 I had decided to start PCB making and I did so by making two PCBA designs. For the 2026, I plan to learn FPGA in detail.

What are your plans for 2026?

I plan to do fewer new projects this year and dedicate a lot of time to cleaning and organizing my work room and computer room. I also need to repair the auto-leveling mechanism on a 3d printer and upgrade the software on my desktop CNC and laser engraver.

I am making progress on these projects, but I also need to make sure not to overcommit or I will end up back to square one.

Yeah, Art of Electronics is a good book. I dug into a few of the chapters years back... it's probably time for me to revisit that as well.

Hum, interesting to know that you wanna try some Electronics that too using some magazine, Are you able to convert those skills that you spend time on learning actually convert to something useful? Or is it useful in your work?
