Portable Screwdriver Set

I was looking for a small, compact, and lightweight screwdriver/hex driver tool (or set) and found this:

A 1/4" hex ratcheting head with three removable 1/4" hex extensions.

You can place the extensions on one end to use it like a ratchet

Or configure it like a ratcheting screwdriver

The main tool body weights are shown below

Each of the hex shank bits have weights between 3g and 8g.

I like the general design of the tool. I am skeptical about the strength and reliability of the ratcheting head.

Time will tell, I will let you know it the tool fails.

In 1998 a wire-puller contractor standing at the top of a ladder said "a multi-blade screwdriver is the idea tool to carry." he reached into his pocket and pulled out on of these.

Experience counts, SOLD, I own about five. They are scattered around job sites. The bits have double use now that cordless power drills are so prevalent. Unfortunately power tools is the reason I own five. I keep forgetting to return the bit to the screw driver and have to buy other screw drive to have a complete set of bits.

I wish you the best of luck with the bit set. I carried one in my tool box for maybe ten years and never once use it. No that is not true. I did use it once when I miss placed my screw driver. Ratching screws in an out must be a skill I failed to acquire. In a pinch it is a tool I would use.

You may find that odd removable exercise where a Cirque du Soleil type move with a socket bit sets might be the only way to remove the fastener. I hope those jobs are far and between.

This is a very useful tool set, not just for bikes as well. This tool has also 8790 HMA-Zyklop 1/4" sockets, in standard dimensions.
So, then I purchased also the complete set of the 8790 HMA-Zyklop 1/4" sockets, from 4mm up to 15mm, and the 8000 A Zyklop Speed-Ratchet with 1/4"-drive.

With these excellent tools, I'm always on the go, whether on construction sites or in the workshop.
The Wiha Slimvaro-electric sets are voltage-resistant up to 1000V. In electrical cabinets, the screws of the protective devices must be tightened to the manufacturer's specifications using a torque wrench, which is why I bought these.
For larger jobs, I also have the large electrical screwdrivers from Wiha.
