Hi kmikemoo I have stared with the Uno Q. But I also started with the nRF54-dk.
The thing is that nRF54 supports low power Bluetooth and it's really good if someone is working on prototype and want to convert that to a product. Otherwise it may be overkill to spend so much time learning low power bluetooth.
Arduino Q is not like that it is fast coding platform. Initial setup takes some time but then we can do some interesting project using MCU and MPU together. That is the advantage..
Also, the thing is that the Q do not heat like RPI-4
