What is the "Back to The Future" Product You Most Wanted?

nlarson

Some of you may have been anxiously awaiting the date of Wednesday, October 21st 2015, since the 1980's when the classic movie "Back to the Future" was released, to see if these products may materialize.  The movie promised a future of hover boards, time travel and other radical inventions that were only a dream at the time.  Now, that we're IN the "future", where are these amazing futuristic products?

What are some "futuristic" products that you've seen in movies and TV that you most want to see as real in the marketplace?   Or, do some already exist?  Or, better yet...will you invent them?

We were promised flying cars, and instead what we got was 140 characters.

The "future product" I most remember from being a kid in the 1960s was the prediction that people would have so much free time in the future that they wouldn't know what to do with it.  Instead, I have enough things -- obligations plus things I want to do -- to keep five of me busy.

When I was a kid my concept of the future was - maybe we will get some banana bread next week. There wasn't even any TV in the country I grew up in. Needless to say technology has progressed well beyond anyone's expectations from those days. But what do I want from the future? Well I still just want some banana bread ..... and a flux capacitor might come in handy as well.image

Looks scrumptious - good for dieting too - I can enjoy it without consuming any calories.

That sounds nice!  Maybe SIRI is a start?  I'm waiting for the Jetson's type world where one would be shuffled through various "getting ready in the morning" apparatus.
