I wonder technology today will be the subject of such fodder tomorrow. Any guesses?
I did but never got a photo.
It may have been the way they were displayed ...behind shiny glass surfaces never photo well....

I may have designed those Z80 based display systems.
But I also worked on bit slice based systems too.
One system was 4k x 4k resolution calligraphic display on a beam penetration colour moniitor .... seriously expensive tech.
Close, they were run off two floppy disk drives and were used to feed text to Z80 controlled displays.

I like the high-speed paper tape reader. Middle of third cabinet. Designed to be used with fan-fold paper tape.
Here's a better image.
Ha ...Twin drives ..Total decadence!!!
Good spot there Doug'
The top white cabinet has two 8 inch floppy disk drives side by side.
The floppy doors slide straight up to access the floppy slots.
You can see a diskette in this image:
Doug
Not sure there's any 8" drives there only the tapes?!
Spotted it Mark .... you were nearly crushed by it
Did you spot the Core memory assemblies on the side as you walked in ?
Check the size of those 8 inch floppy drives and their cabinet....
Like this one.?
