I have no experience with the Beagle Bone, but have numerous Raspberry Pi's and have used them in several projects. From what I have seen the Pi's are cheaper than the Beagle Bone, but have not done any comparisons as to specs between them.
ive worked with both units multiple times, across multiple versions, and i have a strong preference for the Raspberry Pi (particularly the zero and a+)
