Yeah, the site is a little missleading. Seems like #3 has vanished!

Hey, I know this is a bit of a stale thread, but I'm actually searching high and low for HackSpace #3. Anyone have a copy I could buy off them?

The key to good writing is to write more and also read more.

Hi all and thank you for the positive feedback. The article on OpenHAB was supposed to be included in issue #1 but they ran out of space image

It is fun writing tutorials since the objective is clear. This is contrary to my experience with writing content that covers a topic such as the series on LEDs for HackaDay.com

I hope to write a lot more in 2018 since it has taken some time for me to find my groove. The guys over here at e14- the team as well as member have been an incredible source of inspiration and support. Without them, I would have been lost a long time ago.

Thank you, you wonderful people you! image

    Happy hols,

    Sincerely

    IP

Yes, that output is missing for me too. As are half the blue lines.

Actually those blue lines are intentional, they should form a box to show that both parts of the 555 are actually one chip i.e. a 556

I finally got round to reading them, very nice articles ipv1 and Workshopshed : )

Writing a tutorial is definitely not easy, so your article Inderpreet will really help people get confidence to use OpenHAB.

Also the electronics hardware/mechanics combination from Andy was fantastic, awesome idea for a hand-made gift at Xmas to be honest. They seem to have some graphics issue, or maybe it is my PC rendering causing it, but Andy your really nice schematic has some blue lines:

Also noticed this diagram from page 84 is either missing an op-amp output, or my PC is really misbehaving during rendering:

Not sure it is too readable with the gaps on signal wires near the bottom of the circuit. I can't figure out how those resistors are wired to R9 on the left. Maybe it is explained in the text, but the diagram is strange.
