Wanted discontinued relay

I'm trying to find an old bistable relay: Carlo Gavazzi MZP R1 A 002 53 05, they were last distributed about 7 years ago but not in the UK, alternatively I think I have found a replacement the Finder 40.52.6.110.0000, but I can only find company's that will sell 10+ or 50+ and I'm only after one !! any ideas out there?, thanks, Chris

  • You might check Crydom - they have a lot of equivalent parts to Carlo Gavazzi or possibly TE Connectivity (Potter & Brumfield)

  • Some things that I can think of, that you may have already thought of yourself;

     

    Have you tried contacting the manufacturer to see if they can offer a direct replacement or if they have any left over stock kicking around?

     

    Does it have to be a bistable relay, can the circuit be modified to accommodate a different type?

     

    Do you know of any obsolete equipment that contained them, that you could try and get hold of?

     

    There are companies that specialise in obsolete electronic components that you could try asking.

     

    Do you know any other people who may want a relay and share the price with you.

     

    Buy 10 and put the ones you don't use on eBay.

     

    All I can think of at the moment.
