I may be late to the party but I just noticed we have 2 new "Level 10 Turing" Members mcb1 and shabaz. Congratulations to them for breaking through the glass ceiling.

    Hi John,

Spotted your post and totally agree that congratulations are in order for Mark and Shabaz.

I wonder how soon they will exceed the points to the next level.

Thanks DAB and everyone : )

It's also quite a nice coincidence, that me and Mark went to see where Turing worked, a few years ago. It was quite moving, learning more about what went on back then.. The Imitation Game is a film worth watching too.

    Hi DAB,

The break point must be 250K otherwise Doug would have been crowned too.

    John,

That sounds about right.  Other steps are 1000 (Ampere) -> 2500 (Ohm) and 10000 (Lovelace) -> 25000 (Edison), so next after 100000 would be 250000.

    Hi Rachael,

Hang in there it is not the goal but rather the journey that is important, in the meantime you can know that the respect I and the other members have for you and your expertise is worth at least 152,000 points.
