English:
this is being last year in college, i have grown nervious and anxious, i know i might not be the most acomplished engineer student in the world, nor even in my school, life wasn't easy but i wont make excuses, i really love my career and my field of expertise, im not boasting about my knowledge, i know it's lacking even if i don't really know how much compared to other engineers, i know for a fact i know slitghly more than the average student of my school which is supposed to be the better college in engineering in the country but, how about compared with other schools from the world?, do i know more or less?, am i even ready?, of course im scared to find out but i know at least one thing, even if im not entirely confident on my skill and level of knowledge im confident in my will, my love for my field of expertise and my desire to learn, and so i decided in my remaining time as a student i want to build as much projects as i can.

College is just a starting point, so long as you make the most of the learning opportunities you have there that's all that matters. When you get into the real world and start to gain experience in real world environments you'll learn so much more than you could ever be taught at any college. You will have times when its a struggle and things won't be working as expected, its how you deal with these times that will make you a good engineer. You will learn most when you have to figure out why something doesn't work as expected and this is where a lot of the excitement can be found, for me I find learning new things and figuring out something I didn't know in order to get something working is very rewarding. So don't worry about how you rank against engineers graduating from other schools, it really doesn't matter. Just make the most of the opportunities that present themselves to you, enjoy building your projects, we'll all look forward to seeing you blog about your project building exploits here.

    Best Regards,

    Rachael

In my experience, it is what you know, not the school you attended that makes the difference.

I went to a local state collage for my engineering degree and felt well prepared even when I was working with people from MIT, Caltech, Stanford, Carnegie Mellon or Rochester Institute of Technology.

As long as YOU focus on the task and deliver a solid engineering solution, then you will be successful.

I know many would be engineers who talked a good game, but failed to deliver.

I always hired Doers over want to be's.
