Hi all !
Welcome to day 10th of 31 days of Raspberry PI 400
MEO GO
Meo Go is a service provided by my ISP (MEO from Altice) that allows to use a Web Browser as a TV (also has Android and IOS applications).
Unfortunately, it's unusable. It's always buffering and with a lot of stops.
This is a scene from Underworld - underground.
GIMP
Today I did some work with GIMP. A Raspberry PI JAM is coming up and I need to change the date on the poster and on the banner.
It did really well. There were made in Photoshop (not by me) and GIMP opens PSDs without any trouble. The file is heavy, but GIMP and Raspberry PI 400 behave correctly.
After editing the dates on the poster and banner of the Raspberry PI JAM, had to edit the Page on Facebook and change the images. I'm not a fan of Facebook and probably go there once or twice a week. And only browse for around 5m if that much.
Editing the page, upload the new photos was a bit of a pain. In Firefox got the message -" A Web page is slowing down your browser..." No amount of refresh solve this...
Chromium didn't do any better. Got the same message. I really don't like Facebook.
I was watching VLC at the same time. After I exited VLC, both browsers were able to edit the page without any more messages. Facebook really takes a computer down...
FreeCAD
Still designing in FreeCAD for a PiJuice case with camera support, I've finished the piece. FreeCAD was smooth and nothing to report. Like in a full desktop computer.
Granted, the piece is simple, but, nonetheless, FreeCAD behave normally.
Bluetooth
Today I was using another Raspberry PI - experimenting with the Raspberry PI HQ camera - and decided to try the bluetooth of the Raspberry PI and it worked with my headphones without any problems. Don't know why I had such a hard time with the Raspberry PI 400 bluetooth. Still have.
The next week will try a game or two and try to finally solve my VPN problems.
