This is such a very cool story that I just had to share.
In times of a global emergency, it's the selfless acts of individuals that brings hope.
Adafruit in New York has been listed as an Essential Service to assist in the distribution and manufacturing of PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) and electronics for much needed life-saving ventilators in New York. With this, they are able to keep vital medical supplies flowing as well as keep their employees working and busy.
Good on ya Limor Fried (Ladyada) and Phillip Torrone.
I could see more small businesses and the Maker Community come together to tool up and assist with the efforts.
Hey, what a great use of those idle Hacker and Maker Labs.
