Analog and Digital are Not Mutually Excusive

Many things can be accomplished with either analog or digital techniques, but any given application can best be done with one or the other, usually. There are places for analog and places for digital and there really should be no argument about that.

My point, which I thought was clear, is that there is a place for both analog and digital electronics. I wrote this in response to those who think that analog is not necessary and will eventually disappear. I doubt that the percentage of people who believe this is small, but the number of people who seem to believe this is large.
