I fell in love with the Arduino UNO but quickly got frustrated with some of the limits. The board was great for breadboarding and prototyping but not as great for deploying in a project. The lack of useful mounting holes and fragility of pins in sockets make it hard to use in real world applications.
So I decided to make my own Arduino UNO compatible. It has 4 solid mounting holes which can take 4-40 screws. It has screw terminal block connectors to easily wire up anything I want.
Here's the card I call the Screwduino.
