ATmega/ATtiny Microcontroller Programming Shield for Arduino As ISP R2 - #2

The schematic is now ready to be shared.

It is not my creation after all but a combinations of common reference designs out there with my little creativity.

You may find my R2’s limitations from it if you have some knowledge on AVR programming. – Let’s talk about it later.

Please understand that it won’t meet everyone’s requirements as it is solely made for myself.

I’m sharing it out to be helpful to someone who needs it.

I’m also sharing the PCB design and the gerber files so you can easily make a PCB out of it.

You can just send the gerber files to a PCB prototyping company and ask them to make the PCBs. It is easy and doesn't cost much.

Gerber files have been updated to v20190617 as the previous version has a small problem with testing ATtiny X61 series.

It doesn't have any problem with programming but the testing with TEST(PIN3) LED by loading a modified BLINK sketch.

The built-in blue LED is connected to PIN3 of all other microcontrollers but it is connected to PIN4 of ATtiny X61 series.

If you’ve already made your PCB with the old gerber file, you can easily correct it by cutting the copper pattern connected to pin 8 of J41 and add jumper between the pattern and pin 9 of J41, at the bottom of the PCB.
