Made from Recycled E14 box, Recycled 12V Fan from original Xbox, 2.1mm DC barrel jack adapter from Adafruit, Recycled 12V 2.5A DC Switching Power Supply and Duck Tape.

    Good re-use of the fan : ) And nice way to prototype an idea if you have a suitable sized box. I sometimes used 'foamboard' here, I guess there is a similar product overseas too. Basically it is two sheets…

    And nice way to prototype an idea if you have a suitable sized box. I sometimes used 'foamboard' here, I guess there is a similar product overseas too. Basically it is two sheets of thin card, with about 4mm of semi-dense foam in between. Really easy to cut with a knife, and glueing (with impact adhesive, otherwise some may attack the foam) on edges is possible to form airtight boxes etc.
