I'm currently building a pi to be an audio player and more in my 2007 MINI Cooper S. I have sourced and fitted a touch screen into the speedo housing which is causing me a few headaches to get working but I'll get there.

I'll eventually have live weather, sat nav, live OBD data and more within time.

It wasn't too bad for me tbh as I've had these apart many a time in other people's MINIs. Getting the touch screen position right is the hard part, as well as setting up the eGalax touch side of things.
