This was a first practical lesson done at Premier Farnell in Leeds as an introduction to the new student on how to build a simple circuit using a certain number of components given. It was also an introduction on how to use the Soldering equipment that includes a soldering iron, fume extract,a multimeter for testing the components In this project we were given a Printed Circuit Board (PCB), 3 transistors, 5 resistors, a capacitor, a variable resistor, 2 led lights for displaying the output when in use a green( true) and a red(false) , 2 blue wire probes and 2 battery wire connectors. The components legs were put through the top side hole where the schematic is and soldered on the opposite side using the solder iron and the solder. the extra long legs from the components are then cut of using the wire cutters. When the device is in use it produces the results by reading the body sweat from the skin since a person's skin resistance changes when they sweat showing signs of lying and the red Led light comes on.
