Features and Benefits of M12 Connectors

M12 connecters are an interface for data, signal and power – with a range of coding options available.

The HARTING M12 connectors range is available in IP65/67, and includes a wide product portfolio. There are two types of termination available are standard crimp termination and HARAX IDC termination for field assembly. HARAX provides tool-less termination, although it sounds scary, HARAX is a simple and easy process, ideal for field assembly – involving stripping the cable insulation, inserting the conductors and then screwing the connector together.

X Coded – For high speed Ethernet applications
High speed Ethernet applications for process optimisation, and a paired shielding of contacts. Available in a variety of lengths and with transfer class Ea for 1 and 10G.

Push Pull – Ensures rapid vibration-free Ethernet connection with just one click
Ideal for railway applications, and for installation in tight spaces, with simple assembly without any tools and a large number of sockets in one device.
