Well it have been some time since my last post, truth be told it gets a bit crazy when it comes down to juggling life, racing and trying to squeeze in sleep. With that in mind though I find myself laying in my hotel bed here in Montichiari, Italy on the eve of my first race in 2011. Unlike most years when the first race is pretty low priority and more of an opportunity to shake the legs out and catch up with old friends this ones the Track World Championships.
I already have a great feeling about what 2011 will hold but just find myself a bit uneasy wondering am I ready for both feet to be in the fire you could say. What I do know is my legs feel good and today seemed to free me of all the travel induced concrete that had been holding me back for a few days. Race bag is packed, bike is ready now just need to prioritize tonight's sleep and it is go time.
I will do my best to keep you posted and I have lots to share once the dust settles.
