Great launch for Custard Pi at Venturefest

Great interest in the Custard Pi range at Venturefest York on the 28th of Fenruary. There was a lot of interest from Universities in the region, including Scarborough, Teeside and York. Looking forward to promoting the use of the Raspberry Pi and the Custard Pi in education.

There seemed to be more interest in the tee-shirt than the plug-in accessories for the Raspberry Pi. The General Purpose I/O card with 2 analogue outputs and 2 analogue inputs raised some interest. Planning to make this available within a few days.

Also plenty of interest in a Raspberry Pi Jam session to be held in York sometime in April.

I'd seen Stuart Jones post about your board on Facebook and was interested. Nice to see you here on element14 Community. Analog in and out on a compact board like yours sounds handy. What are the ICs you are using? Any idea on pricing? Thanks, Drew

Hi Drew, I am using a couple of SPI chips (MCP3202 and MCP4822-E/MS.MCP4822-E/MS.) for the analogue channels. Planning on selling the assembled boards for £14.50 each. They should be available in the next 2 weeks. I will post on this blog as well as on www.sf-innovations.co.uk when available. Regards Seggy
