Hi guys!
I am happy to be joining what appears to be an active and very intelligent community! I am brand new to Arduino and Raspberry Pi, and looking forward to learning a lot from you guys here! I am a Chemical Engineer who is working in IT Consulting and I've realized how much I miss working with hardware so I'm hoping that Arduino can be a good learning opportunity for me! Shout out to peteroakes who told me about this website!

I'll do my best to help! I did a couple Bachelor's level courses in Physical Chemistry so I may be able to lend some help but most of our learning is strictly focused on the more traditional and practical aspects of chemistry. We don't delve into many novel theories other than in Organic Chemistry.

How much physical Chemistry did you get into?

Hi DAB!
I did a Bachelor's Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering and some material science research during my co-op terms. I started full-time work in IT Consulting a year ago so I never spent significant time in the Chemical Industry. I am considering moving my career into something more focused on System Engineering or Material Sciences.
