how can i adjust the PW-0268 ultrasonic sonar ranging IC frequency system ?

hello everyone;

i'm working now the PW-0268 ultrasonic sonar ranging IC and i want to augment the range of detection by changing the value of the R4 and C2 so that i can work with a frequency system equal to 60 Khz but i don't know how i can do that so can someone help me and explain how i can adjust the frequency?

N.B : in the data sheet the said it can reach the 18 meters

    The frequency looks like it is inversely proportional to the capacitance. To decrease the frequency by a factor of 10, try increasing the capacitance by a factor of 10 to 220pf.

    Some Maxbotix sensors can reach 10m - if you can afford them.

    and the max range we want to achieve is 10m

    thanks michaelkellett;

    if u read the data sheet u can find that all the parameter are depend on the frequncy clock system.

    however , i'm using the SRM400 is a sonar ranging module that use 400EP14D transducer and the max range is 150 cm.
