'I am Hertz'

Well, I made it to the next level in Element 14 and to paraphrase Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy, 'I am Hertz'!

So I must now be a cycle, which is like frequency but on a different wavelength. Over time I will have to modulate my amplitude in order to fit within the bandwidth allowed by Element14. During the last few years my waist, some would say paunch, has varied but I like to think of it as Paunch Width Modification (PWM).  I also like to think I am in control but others say or signal to me that I am in error, but I think that with some positive feedback my error signal can be reduced. I vaguely remembered that Einstein had something to do with cycles, but maybe it was the product of rapid variations and the speed of light, who knows, it is all relative.

About 5 months out of the year, we also have a walk-in refrigerator/freezer. For the other seven months, it's just a garage.

    Mike,

Sadly this does not seem to have happened. I am currently trying to fix my fridge-freezer which has been leaking water due to the defrost water drain pipe being blocked (hopefully by ice). I've looked on YouTube and thought about it. I've tried crossing my fingers and hoping for the best but so far, no success. I've had the back off, didn't seem to be any problems there. I've eaten all the frozen foot (well, mostly) and taken the covers off inside the back of the fridge part (no joy) and partly from the freezer part (some fasteners seem fixed from the outside! so I couldn't get those out. I shouted 42 at it but I just cannot find the access to the drain pipe.

I have now resorted to the time honoured practice of having a cup of tea and hoping it will all go away. I am hoping to not have to wait 48 hours while it all defrosts inside naturally, but if I have to I will. Which will mean warm milk and sloppy margarine for a couple of days. Well it will not kill me.

Sorry to hear that. It's so cold maybe leaving the milk outdoors could work. I had to defrost over the xmas break (because someone left the door open for a long time, and to try to then fix that that the 'super-freeze' button got pressed - this combination of events really messes with the already poor frost-free functionality that was implemented in this particular model) and placed a large heater in the kitchen so it felt like being on hols : ) but it still took >24 hours to fully defrost : (

    Shabaz,

That's a good idea, I'll go and out my milk outside now.

    Dave,

That's a great idea. However, I have left it to defrost for most of the day with an occasional blast with a hair dry and I've just now turned it back on. I'll see what happens in the morning.
