The packaging, instructions, documentation, and components are all A+ quality.
The reason I mention packaging is that so many manufacturers and vendors OVER package their product. After all, it is intended for industrial environment, why do I need a 5 gal. Pail of styrofoam peanuts for a couple of switches?
The 1.2A 24vdc wall wart power supply is another nice surprise, as it is heavy duty, vented with more than enough output for the kit.
The serial cable appeared to be damaged. The first connector in the series had been crimped, then moved a bit, then crimped again. Upon inspection, I found the connectors cut one of the conductors so it should be OK.
