I have several potential projects that I'm interested in exploring on a Raspberry Pi.
Tor Node: I'd like to attempt to use a Raspberry Pi as a network bridge to route all my external IP traffic through the Tor network transparently.
Bar Trivia Game: I think the Pi might be a good platform for "at-site" trivia games such as those played in bars. The Pi would act as a web server that would only be visible on the local (wi-fi) internet and provide no service (or perhaps slow service) to the rest of the internet to prevent players from googling their answers.
Voice-command Guitar Tuner: I'd like to use commands such as "Pi-Tuna, drop D" to begin a sequence to sound a note for 2 seconds, then listen to a note played on my guitar and use LEDs to indicate whether a note is sharp or flat and how out of tune the note from the guitar is while I tune it up. One problem I have with digital tuners is that they require that I remove one hand from my guitar to change the mode. Voice command would alleviate that problem.
I'll try to keep this blog up to date as I explore these and other uses for the Pi.
