Hi All

 

I just wanted to say hello as I'm a new member. I have very little Electronics knowledge but I'm looking forward to that challenge of learning as much as I can from the internet and element14. i have purchased myself an Arduino uno starter kid (should arrive in the next few daysimage) hopefully that will help me out!

 

I would be very grateful if anyone reading this post could share with me how they learned their field and what made them interested ( i look forward to reading every ones experience).

    Thanks for your insight, i wish my father was into electronics would have made learning much easier! glad to hear i have made a good choice with the arduino image.

     

    Thank you for your offer to help me, I will take you up on that and i will try and add you to my contact list or i will simply follow you (new to the site so not sure what options i have lol)

    I started learning about electronics from my father at a very early age, this got me hooked on the subject and interested in learning more. The Arduino platform launched me into the world of Micro-controllers, and I have recently started exploring the world of ARM development. You have chosen a good starting point with Arduino. There are plenty of resources out there to help you get started and a very supportive community. Feel free to PM me if you need any specific getting started advice.
