After a little missunderstood from my side, I will focus into not making anymore mistakes and develop all the parts necessary for the project. This is the official Blog for the Project.
This is a really exciting project to work in!! I have been looking for some time to start this project and now with the Challenge UpCycleIt I have found the motivation to speed up the development part and get the things done.
The main ideas is to use a manual telecope mount and some motors with an old webcam in order to make it automatic and follow the stars in the sky. The practical use will be to have stable platform for long exposure astrophotography.
Some of the challenges ahead are the use of image processing algorithms, control algorithms, the mechanical part to mount everything together and some of the design of some of the motor drivers needed for this project.
The first step will be to make a timing plan for the different parts and divide them in tasks and milestones. This plan must be ready by tomorrow monday with the initla tasks defined.
