There seems to be a 'day' for everything now, doesn't there? For example, did you know there was an international BACON day (it's every single day of the year in case you were interested)?
Well today, is KID INVENTORS DAY! Positioned to coincide with the birthday of noted inventor and founding father of the United States; Benjamin Franklin. As well as the achievements in his life, Franklin is credited with inventing the swim flipper at the grand old age of 11!
You can read more about the origin of Kid Inventors Day herehttp://www.kidinventorsday.com/
However, I would be interested to know what inventions you made as a kid and how successful these were. Post yours in the comments below or on your blog and I will feature them on our Google+ and Twitter feeds.
Thanks for reading!
