Learning Things

Been busy. Spent 13 hours on campus yesterday and spent 6 hours today. Feels almost nonstop though since once I finished yesterday I went to bed, woke up and went to class. Yesterday didn't provide much info on the FPGA like I had hoped but I did get experience designing simple circuits with breadboard and 4000 series ICs. Project this weekend is to design a 4 bit adder based on the Boolean algebra provided. I'll continue to play with the FPGA if I have time. Speaking of time I don't have much right now so I'll have to end here.

Never quit learning.  As hard as it is, the hours spent on learn are very important.  Wanting to learn and feeling like you can't wait to get deep into a subject are good traits, but don't let miss out on the opportunities to build your knowledge in small steps.  The small steps are just a important as the bigger steps you will be able to take later based on the knowledge that you accumulated earlier.

    Enjoy!
