LED through the various permutations and combinations, and optical design, a wide variety of LED lighting products, high power led  lighting products, the development in China is in full swing, the performance levels of LED lighting products has gradually improved. Under the premise of using the correct test method to accurately measure the performance parameters of the photoelectric colors of LED lighting products is the basis for the scientific evaluation of product performance, quality, status quo and development trend. For performance testing status quo of photoelectric color of LED Blue 150W lighting products, the author of the accumulation of where the center in the detection of LED products, collate and summarize the optical color performance of detection methods for LED lighting products.

First, a general evaluation of the performance of LED lighting products

Classification of 1.LED lighting products

LED lighting products, LED lighting can be divided into (for example: LED road lamps, LED strip lights  lamps for light, embedded LED lamps, LED tunnel lamps, LED decorative lighting, LED lamps) and the traditional lighting alternatives LED light (for example: self-ballasted LED lights, MR16, PAR lamps, straight tube shaped LED fluorescent T8/T12). The LED lights should be installed in standard lamps and LED driver lighting. The LED lights can not be directly connected to the branch circuit.

The integral LED 200W lamp contains the LED array (module) or LED package (component), LED drive, standard lamp and the other luminosity, thermal, mechanical and electrical components of the total portfolio. The LED lights can be installed directly used in the standardization of the lamp holder, it can directly connect to the branch circuit. The biggest difference is that of the LED lamp and LED lighting LED lights should be installed in a standard lamp holder.

2.LED lighting and the difference of the light source lamp

LED lighting with conventional light source lamp there are different in many aspects. First of all, the life of traditional light fixtures can replace the damaged light source, light control devices to meet the requirements, generally do not evaluate the life of traditional light source lamp. LED lighting is the LED light source, one with shell lamps, the life of the LED lighting and LED light source life, LED drivers and lamps provide many factors related to the environment of the LED. Different kinds of LED lamps, the life only evaluation of life characteristics can be determined.

Again, the traditional lighting can be used alone for photometric testing, photometric measurements using the relative method. LED lighting integration and the LED light source is extremely sensitive to temperature characteristics appropriate to the LED 400W  light source from the fixture to separate a single measurement, photometric measurements should be used for absolute LED lighting photometric test as a whole.

General evaluation of the performance indicators of 3.LED lighting products

The general evaluation of the performance of lighting products mainly include: optical properties; electrical characteristics, color characteristics, thermal characteristics, life characteristics, and reliability. Evaluation of LED lighting products performance includes the following aspects:

The optical properties include: (1) the intensity distribution, the initial output of energy efficiency (luminous efficiency) / luminous flux, light intensity / illumination;

(2) The electrical characteristics include: the lamp power, power factor;

(3) color features include: correlated color temperature, color rendering index, the chromaticity coordinates chromaticity tolerance, dominant wavelength (color), color, uneven distribution of the color space uniformity;

(4) thermal characteristics of thermal resistance and junction temperature;

(5) life characteristics including the number of switching test, life / accelerated life test, lumen maintenance (luminous flux maintenance rate) / light intensity to maintain the rate (reflector cup MR16 or PAR lamps);

(6) reliability test.
