With the development of the automotive industry, more and more state-of-the-art lighting technology being used in the car. Among them, the LED Floodlight 80W  (LED) lighting has incomparable advantages of the halogen and xenon lamps, such as long life, fast response time, energy saving and environmental protection, accelerate the pace of a large number of automotive lighting.

 

 

ON Semiconductor, as applied to the first high-performance silicon solution provider of energy-efficient electronic products, relying on advanced semiconductor technology, continued commitment to car headlights, dashboard backlighting, interior lighting, door lighting and taillights and other automotive lighting applications including standard and customized products, rich program, such as stepper motor drivers, LED drivers, xenon gas lamp drive control, halogen-driven device, led driver 120w backlight drive control, etc.; especially in the headlight adjustment and deflection xenon lamp driver ASIC (ASIC) and become the de facto standard stepper drive ahead of the market.

 

 

Automotive headlamp development trends

 

 

Road trip most cars with their headlights still halogen lamps, high beam and low beam lights (HB) function. Among them, the typical power consumption of the low beam lamp 55 W, the light output of about 1,000 lumens. In comparison, launched more than 10 years of high-intensity gas discharge lamps (HID) technology, power dissipation is 35 W, the light output of about 3,500 lumens. LED Flood light 10W lighting provides enhanced styling options to achieve "real time" lighting, which allows the brightness control from 0% to 100% power.

 

 

Another important trend in the automotive headlamp applications, the adaptive headlamp System (AFS) to provide beam deflection function to optimize the cornering light and adaptive headlamps (ADB) to adjust the beam according to the actual environment in real time. The stepper motor control functions, compared with AFS and ADB.

 

 

ON Semiconductor to provide a broad lineup of products for the automotive headlamp lighting applications, stepper drives, LED Spotlight 30W , and xenon lamp driver from the ordinary light bulb drive programs to name a few.
