Ah yes, fun with chemical reactions. One small suggestion, use a diffuse light screen and move your light source to the side, so that you do not get the reflection into the video. DAB

You are absolutely right and I tried to recreate the experiment with proper lighting but didn't manage to get such nice spreading so I decided to upload the original one. Also I felt that the incandescent lamp added another steampunk element.
