I admit that I am somewhat biased over the cheaper ones right now since I don't really have much for the budget. I'm planning to cross out each tool one by one every time I acquired them. Somehow, I know that this tool list might change in time due to their availability or to my change of preference.
 
I'd also be glad if someone out there who could also give me some suggestions or comments about these tools that I'll be purchasing.
 
By the way, I'm also trying to join the RoadTest here at element14. I was really hoping that could also get the chance to review some of their products.

    I am an employee at the Modular Robotics lab at the University of Pennsylvania. While we were testing some components at the lab we accidently plugged it into a power supply which was almost double the voltage a Tenma 72-6910 power supply device can take and it blew the fuse in the circuit board and one of the resistors. We want to replace the resistor but we do not know which one it was. If we asked the local supplier of Tenma parts to tell us which resistor to replace it could take hundreds of dollars. So I was wondering if you could open up your Tenma power supply device and take a picture of the circuit board and or look at my profile picture for the blog and you will see the place where the resistor blew out (there is a label whited out by light next to it labelled R-29) and maybe email me what the resistor is. I know this is asking a favor of a stranger, but we only have a certain amount of funding and it would be really annoying to waste money on something so trivial. The power supply device is very important to our research and I would appreciate your help.
