Recently, I was starting my own development workplace for my personal projects that I'd like to build from time to time. After searching through at element14, here are the tools that I placed on my list.
Soldering Station WELLER WES51D
Fume Extraction DURATOOL D00372
Wire Stripper DURATOOL D00127
Desoldering Gun DURATOOL 8PK-366D-F8PK-366D-F
Tweezers VOMM 22B
Multimeter TENMA 72-776572-7765
Bench Vise ROLSON TOOLS 16287
ESD Mat MULTICOMP 082-0045
Mini Drill DREMEL 300
Vernier Caliper HITEC 100-02
Oscilloscope TENMA 72-6802
Magnifying glass with lamp LIGHTCRAFT LC8093
Work Hand GC ELECTRONICS 12-05112-051
I admit that I am somewhat biased over the cheaper ones right now since I don't really have much for the budget. I'm planning to cross out each tool one by one every time I acquired them. Somehow, I know that this tool list might change in time due to their availability or to my change of preference.
I'd also be glad if someone out there who could also give me some suggestions or comments about these tools that I'll be purchasing.
By the way, I'm also trying to join the RoadTest here at element14. I was really hoping that could also get the chance to review some of their products.
