My great idea would be to advance the way we listen to music in our cars (and utilize our smartphones). There has been a boom in the smartphone market and they are becoming an all in one device. My thought was to replace a car stereo head unit with a dock that would connect to a smartphone (such as my HTC EVO 4G) that would plug in to the vehicle and become the "faceplate". Considering it can stream audio (including built in FM), video, navigation, has a touch screen and much more. With proper software and cabling it could even be connected to the engine management port to monitor performance/data and go beyond acting as an onboard computer interface.
