SF Innovations have launched two stackable Custard Pi cards for the Raspberry Pi.
The picture here shows the Custard Pi 5 (breakaout board with 8 digital I/O and protection) plugged into the Raspberry Pi.
The Custard Pi 3 (8 analogue input card with 12 bit A to D) is plugged into the Custard Pi 5.
Then a ribbon cable is plugged into the Custard Pi 3 to an external board (This could be the Custrad Pi 6 - 8 relay card for the Raspberry Pi - to be launched in July)
How about compatibility?
Well the Custard Pi 5 uses the 8 GPIO pins (11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 22 and 7. The Custard Pi 3 uses the SPI bus pins - so these can both be plugged in at the same time.
The Custard Pi 6 (when it is launched) can also be plugged in as it uses the I2C bus. The switches on the Custard Pi 6 allow upto 8 different ones to be daisy chained - watch this space.
The Custard Pi 4 (8 digital I/O using the addressable I2C bus - to be launched in July) can also be plugged in as it uses the I2C bus.
Hope you enjoy this feast.
